Dramatic Results Without The Drama
SkinPen Newport Beach Microneedling is safe for ALL skin types! It is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that stimulates your natural collagen production and helps treat unwanted stretch marks, rough skin texture and acne scars.
This procedure isn’t limited to the face, neck, and chest. We frequently apply it to the torso, thighs, and breasts.
Our Advanced SkinPen protocol utilizes the micro needling pen to cause controlled “micro-injuries” that stimulate the body’s natural wound healing process. These “micro-injuries” trigger the release of cytokines and growth factors that lead to the remodeling of collagen and elastin – and hence fresh “baby-like skin”.
Clinically Proven to Address Face Wrinkles
Our Advanced SkinPen protocol is clinically proven to treat many skin issues. These include fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck. It also helps with acne scars, signs of aging, and improved skin texture. The skin treatments improve rough complexions, textured skin, large pores, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and stretch marks.
E&G Aesthetic Institute is dedicated to boosting collagen Newport Beach. We improve the look of sun-damaged skin. Our treatments enhance your skin’s glow. We also offer neck and hand rejuvenation with low downtime for our patients.
Our Skin Rejuvenating procedure uses Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) to boost your skin’s natural healing. This helps revitalize your skin and gives you a radiant, youthful look.
For microneedling with PRP, we will draw a tube of your blood. Then, we will spin it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. The activated platelets release growth factors to further stimulate and increase the number of reparative cells in the treatment area.
Our advanced skin rejuvenating protocol uses a combination of modalities to maximize collagen production and target deeper scar tissue. These collagen production treatments use PDGF aka “Salmon DNA facial”, Exosomes, Topical Stem Cells, microneedling & platelet rich plasma or PRFM with microneedling. PRP and PRFM treatments involve using a concentration of your blood that is rich in growth factors.
The number of recommended treatments depends on your skin and individual goals. During your initial consultation, our expert injectors will recommend a course of treatment to help you achieve your desired skin outcome.
Typically, 3-6 treatment sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart are recommended for optimal results.
Recommended Treatments and Acne Scars
Our Advanced SkinPen protocols utilize revolutionary treatments designed to improve the appearance of skin texture, color, and tone. Medical Grade Microneedling uses a surgical grade pen with small, sterile needles that create tiny vertical injuries on the skin’s surface.
When the skin is injured, the body uses natural processes to repair the damage. This leads to the growth of new cells. When fresh cells start substituting the old, impaired ones, the skin appears healthier and revitalized. Frequently asked questions
What is Microneedling?
SkinPen is the first FDA approved microneedling device clinically proven to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, textured skin, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, signs of aging, stretch marks and more.
Our Advanced SkinPen treatment works in three simple steps, designed to activate the skin’s natural healing process aka the wound healing cascade. Following each session, the micro-injuries to the area trigger the release of cytokines and growth factors that lead to the remodeling of collagen and elastin, specifically the depositing of Collagen Type 1 to the area.
Microneedling is a facial treatment that involves using a device with small, fine needles to create controlled punctures, or microchannels, in the skin. Microneedling stimulates the skin’s natural healing process, promoting the production of collagen and elastin. As the skin continues to heal itself , the treated areas begin to look more renewed and rejuvenated over time.
At E&G Aesthetic Institute Newport Beach, we recommend microneedling to address general skin health, tone and texture.

What does Microneedling Treat?
Microneedling is a medical treatment designed to address numerous skin issues. Medical professionals mainly use it to enhance the look of scars (such as those from acne), fine lines, wrinkles, and stretch marks. Furthermore, it can assist with large pores, uneven skin tone, and skin firmness. Our medical specialists also utilize it to promote hair growth in those experiencing alopecia.
How Microneedling in Newport Beach works?
During your microneedling treatment at E&G Aesthetic Institute Newport Beach, a cordless, fractional, fine-needled device composed is pressed against the skin, creating controlled micro-injuries to the skin that help produce collagen and elastin. Microneedling also helps improve product efficacy by smoothing the skin and allowing for easier absorption. Makeup should also be applied more smoothly.
What is the downtime for Microneedling?
We start each treatment with the application of a topical anesthetic. This helps reduce any potential discomfort during the treatment. The average Advanced SkinPen Protocol session is 30 minutes (not including numbing time), and you can expect some mild redness and swelling for 2 to 4 days after treatment, not unlike a very mild sunburn, though many patients heal in as little as 24 hours. Individual results may vary.
The downtime for microneedling can range between 72 hours to 5 days. As stated, you will experience a “sun-burnt” sensation for the first 24 hours to 48 hours with redness, inflammation, and tightness of the treatment area.
How soon will I see results after Microneedling?
Results after microneedling vary from person to person. As the skin heals within the first week, the body deposits a temporary collagen giving you a nice radiant glow. However, it is not until week 4 where the more permanent collagen is deposited.
You will not see the final outcome until 30 days after your treatment with optimal results noticeable 3 months after your last recommended treatment session. Most patients benefit from a series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

What type of Microneedling is most effective?
While there are many aestheticians that may offer microneedling for a cheaper rate, effective microneedling that targets deeper in the dermis (greater than 1.0 mm) must be legally performed by a licensed medical provider as the treatment is a medical procedure that is inducing a controlled micro-injury and wound. The body’s natural healing secondary to deeper penetration (past what an aesthetician can perform legally in the state of California) will stimulate an appropriate collagen and elastin production. This recruitment of the immune system will ensure effective and noticeable results.
Does Microneedling Hurt?
Your microneedling session does not hurt. Our highly trained staff will apply a strong numbing agent with concentrated active ingredients to the treatment area. This will ensure that you are comfortable during your facial rejuvenation treatment.
What should I avoid after Microneedling?
• Avoid strenuous exercise or excessive perspiration, as excess blood flow and sweat can cause discomfort and irritation to compromised skin for 72 hours.
• Skinfuse® Lift HG may be applied the day of the procedure to assist with skin hydration. Re-apply, as needed, up to 24 hours post procedure.
• A SkinPen Premium Biocellulose Masque may be applied following the treatment to help calm the skin.
• Strictly avoid sun exposure as you will not be wearing sunscreen. You may return to sunscreen use 24 hours following the procedure. Continue to minimize sun exposure for 72 hours following the procedure.
• 24 hours post-procedure, your expert clinician at E&G Aesthetic Institute may advise you to keep your skin clean of cosmetics or sunscreen for the remainder of the day.
What is the best moisturizer to use after microneedling?
The best moisturizer to use after microneedling is a simple, fragrance-free one. It should not have any active ingredients. Do not use any serums or creams with any abrasive active ingredients including AHAs, BHAs, retinol, acids including azelaic acid, for the first 7 days after your treatment. Make sure to use SPF 50+ for the first three weeks after treatment. This will help protect your skin while it heals, especially the outer most layer of the skin.
